Ahlstrom Ups Prices on Specialty Nonwoven Materials

Materials produced by Building and Energy business area will increase 7%.

Ahlstrom, a global high performance fiber-based materials company, announced price increases on the specialty nonwoven materials produced by the Building and Energy business area to ensure sustainable financial performance of the business unit.

The price increase will be 7% and will be implemented on January 1, 2016.

Specialty nonwoven materials are mainly used in building, furniture, hygiene, wound care and apparel applications.

Ahlstrom’s Building and Energy business area products are used in a variety of applications including wallcoverings, floorings, building panels, composite reinforcements, automotive interiors, apparel, fabric care and wound care. The Building and Energy business area has production sites in six countries.
